Julie Twist, Chair
I returned to Wyoming in 2022 after retiring from Fremont County Public Health Nursing in 2016, spending time in Florida and experiencing the southern US. I have worked as an RN since 1988 after receiving an associate degree in nursing from CWC and a BSN from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1991. I currently work part time doing home health.
Thanks to my time in the Army in the 80s, my very conservative upbringing in rural Wyoming was opened up and my world view was changed forever! From that time on I have been a Democrat, but only in the last 6 years have I gotten involved politically.
I joined the Fremont County Democratic Party in late 2023 and became the vice chair when that position opened up in January 2024. I am honored to now chair the FCDP and appreciate the guidance and wisdom of our dedicated local Democrats. I feel strongly that we must continue to do the work we have started.
Following the devastating presidential election in November 2024, it only strengthened my resolve and it is my intent to work very hard to further progressive values in our state and nation.
I have two adult children; a son and a daughter and 3 grandchildren. I am extremely fortunate that I get to spend time with them often.
I enjoy reading, camping, photography and spending time outdoors; nature and animals are my passion.
I consider myself an activist on a very small scale. I care deeply about the environment and social justice for all people.

Dylan Moellendorf, Vice Chair
Hello, I am Dylan Moellendorf the Vice Chair of the Fremont County Democrat Party. I am excited to represent the Democrats in Fremont County and in the great state of Wyoming. I grew up in Green River, Wyoming in the 80s and 90s. As a high school student, I was a member of the 1990 Wyoming Centennial Boys State. I mention this because we were reminded every day by different speakers that being a Centennial Boys Stater would enhance our lives and provide opportunities. I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism in 1997. While at the University of Wyoming, I had the honor of being a cameraman for the University of Wyoming football team under Coach Tiller. I bleed brown and gold. After college I took the opportunity to move around and check out the nation. For the past ten years I have been a High School History and Government Teacher. I currently am finishing my second year at Fort Washakie High School on the Wind River Reservation. I look forward to the challenges that FCDP faces. My goal is to help elect a Democrat as Governor of Wyoming and as a U.S. House of Representative.

Chesie Lee, Treasurer
Chesie Lee lives in Riverton and is a retired attorney and administrator of nonprofit organizations. Chesie has been a life-long activist for a variety of progressive social justice issues. She became FCDP treasurer in 2024 replacing Bruce Palmer when he moved away. In 2016, with the help of the FCDP, she ran against State Senator Eli Bebout on the issues of keeping public lands in public hands and support for Medicaid Expansion.

Chris Parr, Secretary
I have been voting as a Democrat since I was of an age to vote with one only exception. I have never been very involved in the process other than participating in demonstrations on issues I felt were undermining our freedoms or against wars. Now, as our freedoms are being eroded, I began attending these meetings. I've been coming for a bit over a year and feel we are doing good things.
