Indivisible Missing MOC Action
April 18 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Mass action planned to demand Barrasso come to Fremont County and meet in person with constituents.
Visit Sen. Barrasso’s office in Riverton
Wind River Indivisible is organizing a meeting at Senator Barasso’s office in Riverton on Tuesday to (respectfully) demand visits from our federal delegation. Our US Congress members have scheduled April 10 – 21 as a “district work period” to return to their home district and meet face to face with constituents to hear our questions and concerns. Neither Mike Enzi, John Barrasso nor Liz Cheney have scheduled any visits to Wyoming for this work period, or the next work period (in May).
Tuesday, April 18, 12 – 1 p.m.
Senator Barrasso‘s Riverton Office, 324 East Washington Ave, RivertonThis is a friendly demonstration to express our formal demands:
- For the next district work period (late-May), when and where are Barrasso‘s scheduled events in Fremont County?
- We request the Senator answer to the very concerning actions of this current Administration and Congress: Gut the EPA? Deny the sensible migration of peoples? Push through a controversial Supreme Court Justice? Bomb Syria while banning entry of Syrians to the USA?
- Press releases will be sent to local TV and radio requesting media coverage.
RSVP to Wind River Indivisible (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you can attend, and share what issue you will speak to. We will meet at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday in the Lander library parking lot if you would like to carpool.
– You can still write or call our Senators / Representative requesting that they schedule a Town Hall event in Fremont County for April 10 – 21, 2017.
